The dinner will feature Nelson Ranch Beef and produce from both our farm and our neighbors at Calliope Farms along with wine from Stottle Winery in Lacey. Dinner tickets must be purchased prior to the event. Please respond to this email if you would like more information about the event.

Karen Nelson, chef, caterer, and educator, is part of the 5th Generation of the Nelson family. A graduate of the Seattle Culinary Academy, she’s worked at many of Seattle’s best restaurants, including The Corson Building, Bar Sajor, Lark, The London Plane, Harvest Vine, and Hitchcox Deli. She was a catering instructor at FareStart, a company that provides job placement and training to disadvantaged people in the Seattle area. She has also been part of catering teams led by chefs like Lisa Dupar and Traci Post, and has started her own catering company. Karen works with local Puget Sound area chefs to provide food education and special events.
